It's such a gorgeous region, and I'd love to see that rock art in person. I'm not quite sure what I think of the open air bathroom. We did a helicopter ride near Kununurra but not one at Berkeley River. The Berkeley River one was nearly $1,000 each and I just felt that we couldn't justify that kind of cost. Other people who did it said it was really good though. The Travelling Lindfieldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06913037078617574735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6754117460183392334.post-76357330547763460422017-07-08T15:29:51.088+10:002017-07-08T15:29:51.088+10:00I have been wanting to go to the Kimberlys for qui...I have been wanting to go to the Kimberlys for quite some time! We really like the look of the resort rooms, too, but aren't too sure about the outdoor bathrooms. Although, watching the sunset from the tub sounds relaxing! I think it is more to do with the fact that the population of this part of Australia is very small. This is harsh and unforgiving country, suitable for cattle stations the size of European countries, and not much else - except of course seeing the spectacular scenery. The Travelling Lindfieldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06913037078617574735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6754117460183392334.post-15112669763616590542017-07-06T06:06:41.300+10:002017-07-06T06:06:41.300+10:00The outdoor bathroom was lots of fun, if a bit chi...The outdoor bathroom was lots of fun, if a bit chilly at times. It is in the far north-west corner of Western Australia - very few roads, many of those unsealed and suitable for serious 4WDs only, not many towns and basically a whole lot of nothing interspersed with some of the most spectacular scenery you are ever likely to see. I highly recommend it but it does require a fair bit of forward planning and you have to go in the dry season. During the wet much of it is inaccessible. The Travelling Lindfieldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06913037078617574735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6754117460183392334.post-32727264996734987272017-07-06T03:47:44.107+10:002017-07-06T03:47:44.107+10:00Your travels to the Berkeley River Lodge and the s...Your travels to the Berkeley River Lodge and the surrounding area would have been a perfect 10 had it not been for the noise at dinnertime.
